Shongwe Lookout Guest Lodge

Shongwe Lookout Guest Lodge, is situated in the suburbs of Victoria Falls town, 1 kilometer from the shops, and just over 2 kilometers walk from the Victoria Falls themselves. The lodge has a unique selling point in that the rooms and entertainment area are built around the base of a 2 storey platform, in which guests are able to walk to either of the 2 levels of the lookout tower and view the magnificent vistas of the surrounding town, the Zambezi River, and they can even see the spray from the Victoria Falls. Also located in the lookout tower is a small gallery selling artwork by the locally based artist Nicole Sanderson.

There is a beautiful infinity swimming pool located just off the central entertainment area, with sun loungers and staff available to ensure you are able to enjoy this setting to the maximum. The entertainment area, locally known as the Kuhlangana Area (place of gathering), boasts a world class restaurant and bar, with an aromatic coffee station supporting locally roasted artisan coffee produced in Zimbabwe called Mushe Coffee. For those wanting something a little different for dinner, why not request a braai (BBQ) at the on-site Boma area under the stars.

There are 23 rooms in total, which consist of:

4 x studio rooms (28 sqm) without bath, two of which have wheel chair access. Suitable for elderly guests.
16 x deluxe rooms (28 sqm) all with bath & shower – ideal for large groups. Ten of these are interleading allowing parents/children’s rooms to be connected.
3 x executive rooms (36 sqm) larger rooms with bath & shower.

All the rooms have king-sized, extra length beds, which can be configured on request to either double or twin. The rooms are a max pax of 2 guests per room unless there are infants under 3 years old, where cots are available.

All the rooms have:
