Mbano Manor Hotel Victoria Falls

Mbano Manor Hotel is named after the Shona totem of the hotel’s owner, hotelier Mati Nyazema.  Located only four kilometres from the Falls itself, on the outskirts of town and bordering the Zambezi National Park. This new all-suites boutique hotel offers something a little different from the other lodges around Victoria Falls.  Due to the fact only two trees were removed during the whole process of building the hotel, it truly feels like you are in the middle of a teak forest, with the suites being cleverly positioned so that you feel like you are in your own private oasis.  The resultant bird life from all the natural trees and lush gardens is fantastic.

The main entertainment area’s special feature of a “living green wall” made up of various plants is always a hit with guests.  The décor of the hotel is modern and luxurious, with special attention paid to combining nature and relaxation. Fine or casual dining is available on the dining terrace, in the picturesque bar courtyard, in the indoor lounge, or by your suite. Enjoy light snacks and ice cream around the pool area.

Mbano Manor Hotel has 18 luxury suites and 1 private villa.  The suites are laid out in sets of 2 across the estate.  All the rooms are en-suite with double basins and both an indoor shower and classic claw bath.  Eight of the suites can be configured on request to twin, while the double suites have a king-size bed.

All the rooms have:

  • Ceiling to floor mosquito nets that fall away from the beds;
  • Fans & air conditioning unit;
  • Tea and Coffee facilities;
  • Self-service refreshment area, fully stocked with snacks, mini bar & ice
  • Hair dryers;
