LOWER DECK
Is made up of 6 x twin bedded en-suite cabins (shower/basin/toilet) all with air con. The cabins have glass sliding doors leading outside and access through the central passage-way. Also located on this deck is the fully equipped kitchen, the staff quarters and storage room.
MIDDLE DECK
On this deck is the large splash-type pool with roll-out sun cover; with director chairs to relax in near the pool. There is a closed in open-plan lounge and dining area with air-con and fans. The comfortable lounge suite seats 6, with a 16 seater dining table and chairs. Also on this middle deck there are an additional 2 x Executive en-suite cabins leading off the main area. Both have sliding glass doors leading to the outside deck, air con with queen beds and the en-suite bathrooms each have a shower, basin and toilet. The outside deck on this level has a spare public toilet with shower and basin.
TOP DECK
The top deck is the most popular deck as it is nice and large, with full shade and a U-shaped lounge area and bar. The entertainment area comes with a 3- door bar fridge and a small chest freezer, smaller back deck open to the sun with 4 x pool loungers that can convert to beds for people wanting to sleep on top deck.
ELECTRICAL POWER
There is a 25KVA generator (approx. 4.5litres diesel per running hour) which provides the power. The generator is turned off at 10pm and then the 12-panel solar/5KVA inverter system clicks in and can run fans all night (NOT air-cons). There are 3-Pin Square UK/Zimbabwean style AND 3-pin South African style plugs on the boat, and lots of USB points throughout the houseboat. Hot water is heated by solar with a back-up generator.
There are 2 x pontoon style tender boats (12 pax) one with full shade and the other open. Plus a 20ft Sabre with 200HP motor.
Please Note: Tender Boats are for Game Drives and fishing in the vicinity of the houseboat and are strictly crew driven. Should you require a speed boat for long distance fishing, please either bring your own which will be towed behind the houseboat leaving behind one of the houseboat tenders, (please bring your own rope for towing and fuel) or you can hire a speed boat from Marineland (Contact us for details).
