Genral Info

Royal Game is a nice houseboat for smaller, intimate groups. It comprises of 2 cabins with twin beds, solar fans and cupboard space. There are 2 separate bathrooms, one has a shower, basin and toilet, while the other only has a basin and toilet. Upstairs on the top deck, there is enough sleeping space for up to 4 pax on mattresses.

Royal Game has a fully equipped kitchen galley on the lower deck, which shares the space with an indoor dining area.
The crew have their own cabin and ablutions.

Tender Boats

One uncovered mini pontoon seating 6 passengers with a 25HP 4 stroke Parsun engine.

Please Note: Tender Boats are for Game Drives and fishing in the vicinity of the houseboat and are strictly crew driven. Should you require a speed boat for long distance fishing, please either bring your own which will be towed behind the houseboat leaving behind one of the houseboat tenders, (please bring your own rope for towing and fuel) or you can hire a speed boat from Marineland. (Contact us for details).

Additional Info

Catering, ice, rod hire, tackle purchase and bait can be organised at an extra cost. All fuels used is for the client’s account and has to be settled on completion of the cruise.

CLIENTS TO SUPPLY

  • First Aid Kits
  • Cleaning materials such as dishwashing liquid, bin bags, toilet rolls, air-freshener etc.
  • Personal toiletries such as shower gel, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush etc.
  • Ice to keep drinks cold in the cooler boxes – we recommend 3-4 blocks of ice per day in the winter months and 5-6 blocks of ice per day in the summer months.
  • Charcoal and firelighters for the braai
  • Adaptors for charging cell phones, cameras etc.

Extra Facilities

The top deck is shaded with built in bench-seats and is also where the wheelhouse is located. There is an open sun-deck as an additional dining option. There are both gas and wood braai’s available – but please note only pre-bought charcoal to be used as wood no longer allowed. Please bring your own swimming and bath towels.
