18 Solar panels charging 5 lithium batteries which in turn power up 2 x 5Kva Inverters. This provides the power necessary to supply all of the electrical power requirements. Karibeer has 2 decks, the Lower Deck contains 4 air conditioned cabins, 3 shower-basin-toilet bath rooms, a spacious kitchen and the crew cabin. Two cabins have double beds and two cabins have twin beds, all with mosquito nets. There is a walkway on either side providing access to the cabins through sliding doors as well as access to the bathrooms. The cabins face side-ways looking out onto the water.
The Upper Deck is where the main entertainment area is located, with a bar and USB music system. It has 4 benches that open out to provide beds (mosquito nets provided), a dining room table and chairs which are all enclosed in canvas awnings that seal against the weather and also open up to allow fresh air and sunshine in. In front of this area is the jacuzzi and sun bunks. The Upper Deck is accessible via one stairway at the front and one stairway at the rear of the boat.
All cabins and Upper Deck have 13 Amp (square pin) socket outlets together with USB port outlets (5 volt for phone charging). The boat is accessed at the front by a retractable walkway onto a spacious landing area and then onto the side walkways to the cabins and bathrooms.
All areas including stairways are protected by railings, wire-mesh screens and gates making the boat as child friendly as any houseboat can be (please still be VERY aware of where your children are at all times)
There are two pontoon tender boats with outboard engines to cater for your fishing, game viewing and sunset cruises. One tender is a covered pontoon providing shade and the other boat is also a pontoon, but with no roof (the CREW are the only persons allowed to drive these tender boats)

Clients are to provide their own toilet paper and cleaning materials i.e. sunlight liquid, toilet spray, soap, bin liners, plastic bags for fish fillets, etc.
