Elephant Encounter

Brief description

The Wild Horizons Elephant Sanctuary and Orphanage offer eco-conscious travellers an authentic and positive elephant encounter. Non-riding elephant experiences provide guests a truly meaningful and rich interactive learning experience.

Wild Horizons invests extensively in the sanctuary in order to ensure that the best quality of life is offered to the elephants. In the process, they aid the conservation efforts of the country and contribute to worldwide expertise on the most effective ways of caring for an orphaned elephant.

The Elephant Encounter provides guests with the opportunity to interact with some of the biggest personalities in Africa, the African Elephant. Based in a natural, pristine wilderness environment overflowing with raw natural beauty, guests spend time and connect with elephants in the most positive and natural way possible.

Elephant Encounter Highlights
• Walk with the Giants of Africa
• Spend time and interact with these amazing creatures.
• Interact with the guides that have grown up with the Elephant and learn of each of the Elephants personalities
