Brief description

This exhilarating adventure on the Zambezi River below Victoria Falls, is a must do activity for those who want to see the Victoria Falls from below, experience high speeds, as the jet boats races through the rapids and witness the spectacular scenery of the Batoka gorge. Short alternative to rafting but you must still be fit enough to climb in and out the gorge. The walk is steep and in some places rocky.

Times

Daily – Every hour between 09h00-15h00  (approx. Jan, Feb, Mar, Jun, Jul, Aug, Sep, Dec).

*Highly dependent on the Zambezi River water level.

Duration

+/- 3 hours, 45 to 50 minutes on the boat.

Additional Info

  • Minimum age of 15 years old.
  • Transfers are included to and from Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe) accommodation. If you are staying in Zambia or Botswana, you will need to book a transfer or make your own way to Victoria Falls town.
  • You will also need to have the correct visa. If you need assistance with this, please contact us.
  • Children must be over 15 years old, able to fit into the smallest life jacket, and able to walk in and out of the gorge.
  • The trips run with at least two people on board (maximum 12 passengers)
  • Photos and video of the trip can be purchased for an additional fee
  • The total turnaround time for a trip is approximately 3 hours. This will be longer if you are coming from Zambia.

Costs

US$110 per person.

Includes: Includes transfers from most hotels/accommodation.

Excludes: National Parks fees (USD10 per person).

What to bring

Comfortable hiking shoes, sunscreen, US$10 national park fees, clothes that you don’t mind getting wet, sunglasses, waterproof camera.
